From Preston follow signs to Southport via the A59 road, when arriving at Tarleton traffic lights junction of A59/A565 turn right into church road (signed to Tarleton Village). Straight on at the first mini roundabout, at the next mini roundabout take the 2nd exit (Lord Liford Pub on your left) and then take the next turn left onto Hesketh Lane. Proceed down this road you will pass High School on your right, Petrol Station on your right, Primary School on your left. Pass the shops and you will then pass the Beconsall Pub on your left. Carry straight on and you will drop down a slope to a 90 degree left hand bend. Follow the road round and carry on for approximately 9/10ths of a mile. Look for a lane on your right, (pic.1) this is Dib lane (field on corner has a burnt out barn on it). Follow this road (pic.2) to the end just prior to the farm house turn left (pic.3) along the track, follow this track to the end, the field is on the right. (pic.4)

Follow the track until the next pic
Turn left in front of the farm house

Follow the track almost until the end and the field is on your right
From Southport follow signs for Preston A565 when leaving Southport approximately 2 miles out of the town you should arrive at a large roundabout (known as the Plough Roundabout, pub on right called the Plough) immediate left takes you back along the shore, take the second exit to Banks, ( Preston straight ahead, Churchtown to your right). Follow the road for approximately 3 miles you should have the marshes and fields on your left and a clear view across to Warton. You will pass Hundred End Lane on your right, approximately 1 mile look for a turning on your left (the field on the corner has a burnt out barn on it) turn left (pic. 1) and follow this road (pic.2) to the end (pic.3) just prior to the farm house turn left along the track, follow this track almost to the end, the field is on the right.
